Drops of Hope Initiative

Supporting resilience through culture and community. La Guajira, Colombia, faces some of the world’s highest rates of malnutrition, morbidity, and infant and elderly mortality, caused mainly by the lack of access to clean water. In 2021, almost 40 percent of the population did not achieve adequate nutrition, and Wayuu children continue to suffer and die from preventable causes. ‘We dream of making the world a kinder place’.

Our Response

Dream Master, in partnership with the Foundation for Social and Environmental Development, launched the Drops of Hope Initiative to bring relief and long term opportunities to these communities. Led by Ma. Teresa and a dedicated team, the program focuses on two urgent challenges: the lack of water and child malnutrition.

We believe that when a community no longer has to worry about food and water, it gains the freedom to grow, create, and build a better future.

What We Do

With our initiative we are happy to provide clean water to children and families, we have built a community dining room and support self sufficient projects like artisan weaving to generate income and preserve cultural heritage.

Join Us

Be part of our journey to create a kinder world. Every contribution helps deliver water, meals, and hope, and donors receive regular updates from the community. Together, we can build a world full of opportunity for all.
